AREA CODE ELITE MISSION
To train, serve, and equip the next generation of athletes throughout the West Valley. Through competitive basketball, player development, personal training, and athletic performance, we help athletes develop the skills, confidence, character, and work ethic to make an impact both in sports and beyond.
WHAT IS AREA CODE ELITE?
Area Code Elite is a basketball and athletic development program serving athletes throughout the West Valley. We provide multiple opportunities for athletes to get better through AAU Basketball, Basketball Development, Personal Training, and Athletic Performance.

To build a program where athletes throughout the West Valley have a place to train, develop, compete, and grow. We want Area Code Elite to be known not only for developing great basketball players and athletes, but for developing tough, smart, unselfish young people who are prepared for what comes next.
WHERE DO WE TRAIN?
Area Code Elite and its services are located in Goodyear, Arizona. We use gym facilities at Estrella Foothills High School and Trivium Prep Academy. The use of public venues will be throughout the greater West Valley.
Meet Our Founder:
Coach Shaun Wahlstrom, a local Arizona native, played high school basketball at Verrado and Estrella Foothills High Schools, earning multiple accolades before committing to Arizona Christian University (ACU), an NAIA program in Glendale, AZ.
At ACU, Wahlstrom played under Head Coach Jeff Rutter—one of the most respected minds in college basketball—where he learned valuable lessons about winning and leadership. During his college career, he helped ACU capture three straight GSAC Regular Season Championships and make multiple deep national tournament runs, including the Final Four, Elite Eight, and Round of 32. He also ranks in the top 10 in ACU history for single-season field goal percentage.
Today, Coach Wahlstrom applies those lessons to Area Code Elite, dedicated to helping young athletes reach their highest potential both on and off the court.
